Who am I?
My name is Raphaële Lamaze-Beyssac, I live in Dublin (Ireland). I have been working in the internet field for eight years in France and then in Ireland, first as an editor, then as a project manager, for both public and private companies, and I currently work as a Web Administrator. All my experience have content management in common, that’s why I like to call me a Content Manager.
Why is the Content Manager Happy?
I have experience in using, specify and implementing Content Management Systems (CMS) for multiples size/purpose/organisation websites. I now feel like stepping back to think about the job specificities and best practices, focussing on content management tools and methods.
It seems to me the web content management profession is getting to a new stage, from random practices to rational procedures, from blury burden to clear methods. It means that my daily tasks will get easier and easier, which would be enough to make me happy. I also have that opportunity to analyse my daily job and write articles about it, which makes me happier.
